The PTWP SA Group, publisher of the portalspozywczy.pl and dlahandlu.pl websites and the “Rynek Spożywczy” (“Food Market”) magazine is organizing the 9th edition of the Food Market & Retail Forum: the largest conference targeted at the food and retail sector in Poland.
The forum will be held between 17 and 18 October 2016 at the Sheraton hotel in Warsaw. This year, the leading theme concerns innovation in the food industry looked at in a broad context: in terms of products, marketing and production. We wish to consider innovation as a response of food companies to new consumer needs, which translates into trends observed in retail trade.
The Food Market & Retail Forum includes two days of debates, presentations, expert talks, awards ceremonies for the “Rynek Spożywczy” (“Food Market”) competition and the “Good Product” certificates, and a perfect opportunity for networking and informal business meetings.
The 9th Forum will be based on a fresh formula with the active participation of young, dynamic start-ups from the food industry, who will be able to present their companies and products before an Experts’ Forum composed of CEOs of various food consortia and purchasing directors from retail chains.
Traditionally, the Forum is a venue to share knowledge, experience and best practices between more than 1000 representatives from the food and agricultural industry, retail chains, wholesalers, and providers of logistical, marketing and technological solutions. It is also our ambition to become a platform for the promotion of innovative companies and products in the industry. This is the purpose of the revamped formula of the “Good Product” competition and the “Ready, steady, innovation” workshop session led by market innovators.
Every year, the Forum is an exceptional opportunity for entrepreneurs to discuss the problems and prospects of the industry with public administration officials, including ministers, parliament members and European Parliament delegates, as well as representatives from government agencies, analysts and scientists. Most participants are decision-makers: presidents and board members, general directors and managing directors, operations directors, sales directors, purchasing directors and medium-level managers.
The crowning event of the first day of the Forum will be a festive Gala during which the organizers will present the 2016 Food Market Awards and Good Product certificates.
Come, take an active part and feel free to suggest themes you would like to see addressed during the conference. See you at the Food Market & Retail Forum 2016!
