General Manager, CEO of Hochland Poland since the beginning of 2016. He previously worked in management positions in Germany and Poland for companies such as Cadbury, Wrigley and Mars. In June 2020, he was elected as one of the members of the Board of the Polish Milk Chamber (Polska Izba Mleka). It is one of the most influential of the various trade organisations of the Polish dairy industry. The Chamber's voice counts both in Poland and in relevant international organisations. Hochland Poland is also one of the founding members of the Association of Polish Milk Processors (Związek Polskich Przetwórców Mleka). Peter Knauer strives for close cooperation between the two organisations.
Hochland Poland has been active on the Polish market for more than 25 years and is the leader in the cheese category. It has two production sites in Poland - in Kaźmierz and Węgrów - and an office in Poznań. Hochland, Almette, Valbon, SimplyV are market-leading brands under which a wide range of products, from different categories, is available also for the HoReCa market. All products in the Hochland range are distinguished by their excellent taste and top quality, thanks to the best raw materials and technologies.
