President of Sfinks Polska since August 2011. He also held the position of the president of the management board in Sfinks in the period from June 2009 to April 2010, after which he joined the supervisory board of this company. Before he became involved in management and capital in Sfinks Polska, for many years he co-founded and managed as the president of the Dominet capital group, under which the nationwide Dominet Bank was developed through a franchise. In 2007 Dominet SA together with it Dominet Bank were successfully sold to the international Fortis group. In his career, Sylwester Cacek also was in the supervisory boards of companies such as: Dominet Bank SA, Impel SA. He was a shareholder of the RTS Widzew Łódź SA football club. It also acts as an equity investor - apart from Sfinks, it has a significant stake in the Canadian biotechnology company Helix BioPharma.
